Our Story

Daniel Simmons has more than 25 years in home building, remodeling, and commercial projects. He began his carpentry career while in high school under the apprenticeship of a well-respected local carpenter. In 1997, after working for others he branched out full-time for himself to start Simmons Construction, specializing in framing and interior trim.

Simmons Construction is the “go to” framing and interior trim company for the most respected high-end builders in Carteret County. Daniel’s real passion was in the details of custom cabinetry. This led to Simmons Construction branching out in 2010 to form Simmons Custom Cabinetry and Mill Work.

There is no new home too large, remodel job too involved or commercial project too complicated that Daniel doesn’t possess the knowledge and experience to ensure the job is done right.
